App Entrance Tracking

April 2026

We've added a new way to track patient engagement — App Entrance Tracking.

What's New

When a patient opens the app but doesn't complete a workout that day, the system now recognizes this as an "app visit" and records it automatically. This means therapists get a fuller picture of patient engagement, even on days when a patient didn't finish a formal workout session.

How It Works

  • A patient opens the app (web or mobile) and their dashboard loads.
  • If the patient completes a real workout that day, everything works as before — no changes.
  • If the patient doesn't complete a workout within 2 hours of opening the app, the system creates an inferred workout based on their current plan. This shows up in the workout history so therapists can see the patient was engaged.

What Therapists See

In the Workout Sessions table on the doctor dashboard, inferred workouts are marked with a green "App Entrance" badge. This makes it easy to distinguish between workouts the patient actively completed and sessions where they opened the app but didn't go through the full workout.

What Patients See

In the Past Workouts page (web) and History tab (mobile), inferred workouts show a green "App Visit" badge so patients can see which entries were recorded from simply opening the app.

This feature is enabled per clinic. If you'd like to turn it on for your practice, contact your account manager.
